Murano spa, founded in 1944, has grown over the years to become a solid point of reference in the market of dried fruits: a strategy based on quality, innovation and production efficiency.
The company has two plants: one in Agropoli for figs and dates processing, today is dedicated to Christmas products. The Pomigliano d’Arco plant, built in the late 60 ‘s for roasting and packaging, has been renovated for the first time in years ‘ 90, bringing the Murano first company to achieve ISO 9001 certification (today BRC and IFS Food Safety Certification have been achived too).
A few years ago the company decided to invest in further expansion, which makes this the most modern plant production site in Italy in the sector of dried fruit-of-the-art facilities, including a line of dry-roasting roasted peanuts and pistachios, for a line of oil-roasting for peanuts, almonds and cashew nuts, shelled a line for selection and bleaching of Sorrento walnuts and 12 packaging lines , of which 8 new, 100% automated.
Dynamic and strongly oriented to the future, the company continues to invest in production plants and high-tech packaging, managed through sophisticated computerized systems that allow top level quality standards.
